Wasabi Warriors
aims not only to serve delicious sushi rolls, but also to champion
local, free range, fresh, biodegradable, recycled, and sustainable
practices.
Wasabi Warriors is an Australian brand that has expanded to Hong Kong, and now the Philippines. Its first store in the country opened this week at Century City, Makati; What they're offering is not quite your average sushi and nigiri -- what makes them stand out among many sushi offerings in the metro is their green heart: all ingredients used in the restaurant are from premium single origin, and are locally sourced produce. Locavores, this is your new place to check out!

Food is made fresh daily in store, and at the end of the day if there are any food items not sold, they go directly to charity or to compost as fertilizer. It's a restaurant where customers can enjoy Japanese food in another way other than its flavors, knowing they are doing their little part in becoming a locavore, supporting local farmers and producers. Wasabi Warriors also mentions that they have close to zero food waste.
More sushi options: Wasabi Warriors specializes in brown and black rice sushi
