If you’re the type who would snap photos first before digging into your meal, then you must take your passion for food to another level. Join the writing workshop, “Brew Your Best Food Feature”, facilitated by Writer’s Block Philippines, an organization dedicated to empowering writers, communicators, and creative entrepreneurs. This event happens on March 25 (Saturday), 9am to 12pm at 26th St. Bistro by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf*, Net Lima, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Santos is a regular columnist in Rappler and as the 2014 Persephone Miel Fellow for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, her work has been published in The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post among other US outlets.
“Participants are not required to have any professional writing experience. As long as they have an interest in either food or writing—better if both—they’re welcome to attend the event,” says Nikka Sarthou-Lainez, a lifestyle writer who was chosen as one of the five Asian representatives for Moleskine’s Modern Nomads in 2012.
Registration is now open for “Brew Your Best Food Feature” happening on March 25, 2017, Saturday, 9am to 12pm at 26th St. Bistro by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf*, Net Lima, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
