Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar, to Open Soon in the Philippines

In a press briefing for California Pizza Kitchen, Global Restaurant Concepts, Inc. President and CEO Archie Rodriguez confirmed that the group will soon open the first Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar in the Philippines. Founded in 1980 in Georgia, USA, Applebee's is considered to be the largest casual-dining chain in the world, with more 2,000 locations in different territories across the globe.

Asked when and where will the first Philippine Applebee's open, Rodriguez answered, "Hopefully we can open by Christmas this year. The location, I'd formally announce once finalized."

Since 1997, Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. has been in the business of bringing in international dining concepts to the Philippines.
