Paper Moon Cake Boutique and Café - Now open in Glorietta 3, Makati & Trinoma

Japanese Mille Crepe place 'Paper Moon Cafe' opens two shops in Manila August 7 and 8

by
Viva Group of Companies' food division, Viva International Food & Restaurants, Inc., partners with Kazuko Emy Wada of Tokyo to open two cake boutique and café outlets this weekend. If you've never had a mille crêpe -- paper-thin handmade crepes delicately stacked to form a twenty-layer cake -- then now's the time to try some.

Paper Moon Cake Boutique and Café is now open in Glorietta 3, Makati, while its Trinoma outlet opens August 8, Saturday, 4pm. The signature dessert at Paper Moon is the Mille Crepe - a specialty of Mrs. Wada, who is called Tokyo's 'Grand Dame of Specialty Cakes,' - a cake she is famous for in Japan and has also been enjoyed in New York.
This French cake loosely translates to "thousand crepes," to describe its many layers of crepe, with light cream in between adding sweetness, texture, and flavor. Paper Moon currently offers these popular crepe cakes in two sizes, and can be ordered per slice. The signature variant is Original Mille Crepe, handmade with twenty thin layers of crepe with light pastry cream in between and then topped with a caramelized crust. Other flavors include Chocolate and Mango, while other products are available, like cookies and savory bites such as quiches and sandwiches.
Visit Paper Moon Cake Boutique and Café now open at the ground floor of Glorietta 3, with its second outlet at Level 4 of TriNoma Mall opening on August 8, Saturday. Connect with Paper Moon on Facebook ('Paper Moon Cafe PH') , Twitter and Instagram (@PaperMoonCafePH).
