A favorite bread stall in Salcedo Market and Rockwell's Bakers Dozen has recently opened a bakery-cafe in Ortigas.

The Breadery is popular for their handcrafted artisan breads and pastries made with premium ingredients. The bakery quickly became popular with foodies frequenting weekend markets like Salcedo's and Power Plant's baker fair; they also participated in the previous Best Food Forward benefit food fair, and last weekend's The Gourmand Market in Bonifacio High Street.

With their new dine-in branch, bread lovers can now also enjoy their freshly baked treats within the cafe leisurely, and take home some to have at home. The Breadery's products are made fresh and handcrafted, also using natural yeast. Their bread lineup is extensive -- buns, loaves,croissants, baked goods in both savory and sweet varieties. If the choices seem many and you're confused on what to bring home with you or eat at the bakery-cafe, fret not--you can try before you buy, as beside the products are small containers prepared with sliced, tasting portions of their different bread offerings.

Sweet desserts like canelé, a French pastry, and warm pockets of apple pie are also available. Long time favorites from The Breadery include Earl Grey Tea with Raisin (P120), Blue Mountain Coffee Chocolate (P160), Truffle Bun (P170), and Olive Cheese (P190). To pair with your freshly baked breads, hot beverages like Latte (P115), Hot Chocolate (P130), and Cappuccino (P115) are available, as well as iced drinks and frozen beverages in coffee and milk-based flavors. A house specialty is their Cold Brew, and you can order it as Iced (P150), or as Marbled Cold Brew (P170).
